Gambol Industries is a full service boat yard located in Long Beach California. Founded in 1992, Gambol began as a yacht manufacturer. However, as local boat owners became aware of Gambol, we began to receive requests to do repair and custom work on their vessels. Gambol gladly did these small jobs since they were few and far between, thus giving Gambol the ability to continue to focus on yacht manufacturing. Eventually Gambols' reputation as a company with an experienced crew capable of producing quality work generated enough interest in our company that our officers decided to expand. Beginning in the year 2000 Gambol expanded its facilities, started an advertising campaign and officially opened its doors as a full service boat yard specializing in refitting small and large vessels.

Gambol acquired a larger portion of land from its landlord and rearranged its facilities to better accommodate its boat yard ambitions. Our facility has just under 100,000 square feet, along with a 120' long concrete pier and 320' of floating docks. The open space we have allows us to bring several boats into dry-dock for minor work such as bottom paint jobs. Our pier and docks allow us to work on multiple vessels that do not require hauling out. Currently we use our 30 ton crane and 300+ ton 'FastLift' to haul out vessels. We also have our own fiberglass, metal, and wood shops, where the majority of our custom work is done. The 'FastLift' is a piece of equipment designed by Gambol, this lifting equipment gives us the ability to lift vessels as large as 40' wide, 150' Long. This equipment gently protects vessels as they are lifted on wheeled cradles from underneath and then rolled into our yard via these wheeled cradles. As our business grows we improve our facilities to accommodate our clients.

In our years as a yacht manufacturer we were able to assemble an experienced crew capable of building a quality vessel as well as modifying, redesigning and maintaining existing vessels. We confidently offer our services on all boat types, from workboat to megayacht, whether it is power or sail, made of fiberglass, metal or wood.
